It is recommended to approach Emery Down from the A35 if you are coming from
either Christchurch or Southampton. Take the turning opposite The Swan pub,which is about 1/2 mile from Lyndhurst in the direction of Christchurch.
Cross the cattle grid and continue on up the hill. Over the brow of the hill
take the second turning on the right, opposite the church. The village hall
will then be on your left after 100yds
